Denver, CO – Tony Rizza wants to return his copy of Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare in exchange for the new Call of Duty Ghosts game.
“The return policy totally sucks, it’s just dude, ya know, bro it’s not fair” – Rizza
Rizza explains that he was fooled into thinking that PvZ Garden Warfare was the newest iteration of the Call of Duty franchise. Up until now, he has been playing his Xbox 360 with all of his friends online, specifically, the COD game Modern Warfare 2. That changed when he received the Xbox One, or “Xbone,” for his birthday last week. Eager to play on the new machine, Tony headed out to purchase the new Call of Duty to finally be able to play with all other friends who have moved into the new platform. After spending a while at the store, he returned with his new game in hand.
“I thought the game looked weird, but I was told Call of Duty was trying new things, so I went with it,” said Rizza. He continued, “I played a couple of matches, I had fun. If felt as if Call of Duty added stuff inspired from Left4Dead.” After around 12 hours, Rizza would take his first break. After reading the messages from his friends, he would soon realize he purchased the wrong game.
Rizza would attempt to return the game but due to the game have been opened the store policy was that it couldn’t be returned. The store manager said “Besides the fact that the game box appeared to have been bitten opened as if it was a candy bar, we told him we could accept the game for trade credit. The customer seemed to be confused by what I told him and just asked for his chocolate bar back”.
TheKohlrabi asked how he could have made this mistake in the first place. Tony would let us know that he thinks he ingested some special brownies before purchasing and subsequently playing the game for 12 hours. “I honestly can’t remember if they were special or not, I was really blazed when I ate them”
